I don´t know if there is anyone in the world who hasn´t heard, at some point in their life, any movement of The 4 seasons, by Vivaldi.

The first time I was taken to a concert I was 9 year old (more or less) and the first piece the musicians played was one of the movements of  The Spring. I think I was stunned! I didn´t know classical music could touch you so deep.

Many years went by since my first concert but I remain faithful to this work of Vivaldi: I listen to it hundreds of times througout the year.

Today, my favourite is the Concerto No. 4 in F. minor, Winter, and its first movement, Allegro non molto.
